Print Work
Below is print work I've developed and had published, or designed for potential clients. The challenge here is always to fit succinct text, graphics, and a photos in a balanced and hierarchical way, within the confines of a magazine spread.or piece of printed material. This is probably my favorite type of design work, for that challenge alone.

L.A. Times Full Page Ad
This ad promotes a singular and exclusive piece of property, designed by the famed architect Richard Meier. I echoed his use of the grid by incorporating it into the page layout; along with his signature white parallel lines.

Coreworks Flyer
This double-sided flyer was an early expression of a new brand identity. Clean, modern, and airy; this aesthetic complimented their purpose- a cleaning and environmental utility service.

Ladies Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show Print Ad
Advertisement for Unidine luncheon & fashion show using curated food imagery and retro fashion illustration.

Poster for "Pickled" Promotion
The logo and poster I developed for this campaign allude to “master briners”, and it speaks to our desire for authenticity and expert craftsmanship in everyday life.

Hello Dumpling Poster
Poster I designed to compliment the logo and enhance the theming of the monthly meal program.

Poster for "Crepe Cafe" Promotion
This was displayed in public areas, advertising the Crepe Cafe monthly menu concept. A hand-made, artisanal aesthetic was employed in the logo I developed, along with soft hues and elevated food imagery.

Light the American Way Print Ad
I designed the logo lockup, came up with the tagline, and did the layout for this print piece. This design was pitched to a potential client on spec in the hopes of bringing new business. When balancing the photo grid, I had to maximize white space and keep the text minimal in order to avoid crowding the page.

Ameresco Annual Report Cover 2017
Concept art for the corporation’s annual report. This folder involved designing the front, back, and interior of a folder which would contain various documents of the annual report. The design had to encompass the company’s values while not being too specific. I chose to pursue a dynamic collage aesthetic, and while it was not chosen, I feel it is a strong design.

Ameresco Annual Report (Interior)
This spread shows the inside of the folder, listing key board members, and mirroring the exterior of the folder in a subdued fashion.

NEWIEE brochure (front / back)
This piece were printed in-house for distribution at the annual meeting, and fully represented the launch of the new brand I developed for NEWIEE.

NEWIEE brochure (inside spread)
Leading with the mission statement, the inside of this brochure had to be clean and easy to read, as well as include all relevant organization information.

Diamond in the Rough Cuff Advertorial, Beadwork Magazine
Advertorial spread I wrote, photographed, and designed instructional graphics/copy for. This published spread appeared in the April/May issue of Beadwork magazine 2017, and markedly increased sales of DiamonDuo and Tango beads for this quarter.

Print Advertisement
This ad's objective was to announce a new collection of colors, while simultaneously touting superiority over a competitor who stole our idea and ran with it. Though the competition played dirty, and our product was superior, one must respond projecting positivity.
